The Little Mix website is full of character and follows the common conventions of a classic girl band. Many of the photos on the website are of the girl band having fun and enjoying themselves. This allows the audience to have some insight into the band and who the members are as well as how the members interact with each other. The colour scheme is colourful and bright, which reflects the pop genre as pop is known for being upbeat and colourful. The website has lots to offer, even allowing the audience to see the latest Little-Mix news, allowing them to keep up with the audience. There are also multiple features such as videos and even a shop where fans can purchase lots of
merchandise in order to support the band. The website is fairly basic and easy to navigate so audience members can get to where they want to go. This website and all Little Mix's adverts/ digipaks work well in synergy to sell their products as it presents Little Mix as being a fun and upbeat girl band, therefore implying their music styles will be the same.
Little Mix's website has a feature that enables the audience to discover more about the members of the band. This is a convention that most websites do not have as it comes off as slightly vain. However, by stating who they are, the girls will seem more like individuals instead of someone who is part of a huge band. This allows small fanbases to occur as handfuls of people will favour a different member of the band. This works well in synergy with merchandise as audience members are more likely to buy merchandise that supports a certain member of the group to show their support.
